Quick Thoughts

There’s a total of 26 digital coupons, although those are good for up to 30 brands as there are five Gap brand gift cards available under the one digital coupon.

Seeing as most of these offer a $5 discount when spending $50 or $10 off $100, you’ll be saving 10%. Note that in nearly every case you have to buy two gift cards and $10 cards are excluded.

Some past gift card digital coupons from Kroger included wording that you’d save x amount on groceries when spending x amount on gift cards. That’s not the case here, so you should be able to only buy gift cards in a transaction and still get the discounts.

In addition to these discounts, Kroger has a 4x digital coupon that’s good on all gift cards. That can save you up to 14% on gas which is great when stacked with these discounts. As always, pay with a credit card that earns more at grocery stores to increase the rewards you earn.

If you don’t need the fuel points before the end of November, it might be worth waiting to buy any gift cards you want until December 1 or 2 (December 2 is when the coupons expire). The reason why is because Kroger fuel points expire at the end of the month after the month in which you earn them. That means if you buy the gift cards before November 30, your fuel points will expire on December 31; buy them on December 1 or 2 and the fuel points will be valid until January 31, 2020.

The Happy cards only give you $10 off your grocery purchase. Decent deal potentially but caps the benefit at $10/shopping trip plus the fuel points
