Welcome to our weekly list of what’s ending this week as well as a collection of some other deals that are due to end soon.
More than a dozen deals end this week as it’s coming to the end of the month. As a result, most of them expire on Wednesday 31, such as $4,000 in fee-free Plastiq payments if you’re a small business owner that doesn’t currently have an account with them. A Capital One to LifeMiles transfer bonus also ends that day, as does a decent (but targeted) Choice promotion offering up to quintuple miles when booking a stay through the app.
Also of note: The ability to buy $1,000 Visa gift cards at Simon Malls expires Sunday 8/4. Usually gift cards are capped at $500 each.
For those of you near a store that uses the Just For U program (e.g. Safeway, Albertsons, Shaw’s, Tom Thumb & many more), you can make a few bucks and get some bonused spend with a couple of digital coupons for Visa gift cards. With a couple of Radisson offers, bonus Hyatt points in Vegas and more, be sure to check out all these deals to make sure you don’t miss out on deals that work for you.
Finally, don’t forget that there’s only a few days left until Priority Pass memberships issued by American Express are no longer valid for Priority Pass restaurants.

Does Barclays tend to give a warning before ending deals? I want to do the 75k AA offer, but I want to wait a few more weeks to ensure I’m going to clear some other bonus thresholds. The Jet Blue business card offer, for example, has been saying that their 60k signup bonus is a “limited time offer” for the last 6+ weeks but it is still available. I wonder if Barclays will do the same with this offer when they are thinking about taking it away? Do we have any data points on that sort of thing?
Also, I know we like to trash AA miles domestically, but I find a lot of great value with them in economy if you book in advance with their economy web special offers. I almost always get 2 cents/mile and I feel like this should be discussed more. A few bookings I’ve done the past few days: Miami to Seattle RT for 26.5k over Thanksgiving (would be $476 for basic eco, or $546 for main cabin) and Miami to DCA RT for 10.5k ($206 B.E., $276 M.C).
I’m not aware of Barclays listing an end date for these increased offers, so there’s definitely a risk of missing out if you wait too long. That said, if you wouldn’t be able to meet the minimum spend requirement anyway, I’d probably wait and hope that it’s still around in a few weeks.
