This morning, The Points Guy reported incredible JetBlue Mint Class fares from Boston and New York to the Caribbean, specifically to St. Lucia and Aruba. While many of the best fares have been gobbled up, there are still some dates available where Mint class is just a little more than economy class (or possibly some days where it is even less than economy). For example, here’s one Greg found:

You’ll even find some dates available into the spring. Here’s March 30th.

You can find availability with Gogle Flights. Note that these can also be booked with JetBlue TrueBlue points for about 18K points + $11 in taxes / fees (though that will vary a bit depending on the cash price you find).

Again, this one is going and probably nearly gone — but there are some seats available as of 11:53am Eastern time. If you’re interested in a trip to the Caribbean, you might want to take a quick look to see what you find.

Only problem with these flights is the timing 6:30am no thanks… it’s a 4 hour flight so it’s not like you get to take a nap anyway…

I’m finding lots of flight now leave at 6:30 — it’s the new 8:30. 🙂 When I was at the ABQ airport the other day, I noticed that UA’s first round of flights to their hubs started at 4:30 am, with lots of flights before 6 am. (the other airlines were still “lazy” and didn’t fly before 6 am). I don’t know who wants to fly so early. But there must be customers and, obviously, starting that early gets you more utilization out of your aircraft. I have noticed that people go to work earlier in America than they did 20 or 30 years ago, so maybe it’s a cultural thing.

to aruba it’s 5 hours and who wants to arrive on day 1 of their vacation at night?
