New JetBlue offers showing on mobile (60K biz / 50K personal)

The JetBlue Business and JetBlue Plus credit cards are both offering increased welcome offers right now. There is one small catch: the best offers on each card are only available via mobile browser at the moment. That means you’ll want to use your phone or tablet if you’d like to grab one of these offers while you can.

FM Mini Review: This card is almost identical to the JetBlue Plus card except that this one earns 2X at office supply stores rather than grocery stores. Both cards are great choices for JetBlue flyers.

Quick Thoughts

As noted at the top, these offers are currently only showing when viewed via a mobile browser, so you’ll want to use a phone or tablet click through from the links on our dedicated card pages (you can access the dedicated card page for each card by clicking the card name under “The Offers” or “Key Card Details” above).

Those who are looking to use rewards for JetBlue flights can get good value from these bonuses. According to our calculations, JetBlue points buy about 1.43c each in airfare. Our Reasonable Redemption Values peg them at 1.33c each accounting for the fact that you don’t earn points on award flights. You can reasonably expect to buy somewhere in the realm of $650-$800 in airfare with 50K-60K points. With some Mint routes to the Caribbean from the northeast US, one might even be able to stretch the welcome offer into a couple of comfortable flights up front.

Keep in mind that it is also possible to earn Jetblue Mosaic status purely through spend: with $50K spend on either of these cards in a calendar year, you would earn Mosaic status for the rest of the current year and all of the following year. Either card also offers a 10% annual rebate on redeemed points, though I believe these rebates no longer stack.
