There’s a new 30K miles + $100 statement credit offer out on the Spirit Airlines World Mastercard from Bank of America. While the cheapest “off-peak” flights may be difficult to find, those who have a use for Spirit miles can get decent value out of this offer.

FM Mini Review: Spirit awards start as low as 2500 miles one-way off peak, but miles expire with 3 months of inactivity.

Key Card Details

Annual Fee: $59

Card Type: Masrercard World

Big spend bonus: ⚬ 5K bonus miles when you spend $10K annually and pay your annual fee

Quick Thoughts

This bonus comes as 15,000 miles after first purchase, with an additional 15K miles + $100 statement credit. That’s enough for anywhere from one to a bunch of Spirit flights. Here is the award chart:

Keep in mind that to my knowledge you’ll still pay for things like checked bags, seat selection, etc. Still, earning 2x everywhere you might be able to rack up some savings on your flights if you happen to live near an airport with a lot of off-peak availability.

Some people say that off-peak awards are hard to find, others say it is not so bad. For what it’s worth, here are the relevant dates 2018-2019 for credit card holders and for those without the card:
