Royal Air Maroc is offering some excellent airfares between Washington Dulles Airport and several cities in Europe (including Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Amsterdam and others) from about $1500 round trip. As if round trip business class to Europe (in a flat bed seat to Casablanca) for $1500 isn’t enough, most of these fares look like they book into D class — meaning you should earn 150% of mileage flown if credited to Etihad Guest. That’s more than enough for a one-way domestic economy class flight within the US, or transfer points from Membership Rewards to take advantage of other Etihad Guest sweet spots.
- Cheap business class airfare on Royal Air Maroc from Washington, DC to several cities in Europe (inlcuding Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, and Milan) from $1500 RT
- Use Google Flights to search for dates / availability and then Skyscanner or Momondo for cheaper prices
- 3 day minimum stay
- Travel permitted through March 31, excluding December 15 – January 10
This one isn’t likely to last very long. You’ll want to search Google Flights for cheap dates. For example, Washington to Barcelona will show up at $1715 with excellent availability through the end of March.
However, if you pick a set of those $1715 dates and put them into Skyscanner or Momondo, you’ll get even better pricing:
Here’s a list of all of Royal Air Maroc’s destinations. It’s likely you can score a good deal to other European cities as well.
Credited to Etihad Guest, flights that book into D-class (I believe most of these would) should earn 150% mileage flown. Etihad Guest charges 12,500 miles for a one-way American Airlines saver award within the US or 17,500 miles one-way to Central America or South Amrica 1 (here’s a link to the award chart for AA flights). There are tons of other (better) sweet spots on the chart — but even if you only intended to get a domestic one-way out of the deal, that’s still a great kicker on top of $1500 RT business class to Europe.
Again, these prices are not likely to last long. If interested, you’ll want to book sooner rather than later.
