I see better-than-advertised offers… [Targeted]

Information about some of the cards contained in this post was collected independently by Frequent Miler. The issuer did not provide the details, nor is it responsible for their accuracy.

Earlier today, I was doing a regular checkup on the Amex links on our Best Offers page. I was pleasantly surprised when I clicked some of our links and saw better offers than the standard advertised signup bonuses on several cards. I was using the same browser I had used to log into my Amex account just a little while before checking our links. Each of the increased signup offers included the text, “Special Offer for You” — meaning that these signup bonuses are most likely targeted specifically to me. You may not have the same offers available to you — but if you’re interested in any of the following cards, it’s worth using your normal browser and checking the links to see if you get a better offer like I did. (Note that when I clicked the links from my phone, I did not see these increased signup offers. This is presumably because I have not logged into my Amex account on my phone’s internet browser, so I wasn’t seeing offers targeted to me.)

The targeted increased offers I saw today were the following:

Membership Rewards

Amex Everyday Preferred (standard offer is 15K after $2K spend in first 3 months)

Amex Everyday (standard offer is 10K after $1K spend in first 3 months)

Premier Rewards Gold Card from American Express (standard offer is 25K after $2K spend in first 3 months)

Cash Back

Blue Cash Everyday (standard offer is $100 back after $1K spend in first 3 months) This offer has expired

Blue Cash Preferred (standard offer is $150 back after $1K in spend in first 3 months) This offer has expired

Bottom Line

While not everyone will be targeted, increased bonuses like these are always a nice surprise when they happen. If you’re looking for one of these cards, click the card name above to be taken to a Frequent Miler page with more information about the card and/or go to our Best Offers page to check and see if you have been targeted for any increased offers. For those curious, I did not see any increased offers on the Platinum cards — but please let us know if you see any additional offers on any card.
