Nice deal on new Sennheiser wireless earbuds

The new Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless earbuds have gotten solid reviews from various tech and sound folks. I’m no audiophile myself, but right now there is a good coupon + cash back stacking opportunity to get a great deal if you’re specifically after this set of earbuds. These are backordered right now, but I believe that’s because these headphones aren’t even released yet — Amazon says they are scheduled for release on December 15, 2018. Scoring a big discount on a not-yet-released item could be a very good deal if you’re in the market for these.

The retail price on these earbuds is $299.95, and that’s what the places carrying them seem to be charging. However, you can stack a pretty good deal on them through Neiman Marcus and pay a lot less.

Step 2: 14% cash back via a portal (this is really Step 1)

Ok, so you’ll really want to start here. Ebates is offering 14% cash back at Neiman Marcus. That’s $34.99 cash back. That drops the net cost to $214.96.

Considering the fact that these are a brand new (not even released yet) item and to my knowledge only available full price elsewhere, that’s a pretty significant savings.

Bottom line

North of two hundred bucks is a lot of money for wireless earbuds, and even Apple’s Airpods have been cheaper this week. I’m not in the market for this Sennheiser set, but there may be enough margin to sell for a tiny profit and/or it’s a much better deal than paying full price if you had an eye on these. Further, it’s a good illustration of looking where others aren’t for deals as headphones probably aren’t the type of item you’d most likely associate with Neiman Marcus.
