As I was updating our Current Amex Offers database this morning, I noted a new offer out this week for lululemon good for 2,000 Membership Rewards points with a purchase of $100+. I then noticed that TopCashBack is offering an increased payout at lululemon (13% back). Combining the two could make for a return of as much as 33% back if you were to order exactly $100 in merchandise.
The Deal
- There is a new targeted Amex Offer out for lululemon that is good for 2,000 points back when you spend $100 or more (there’s also presumably a $20 statement credit version)
- Stack this with an increased offer for 13% back from TopCashBack
Key Terms
- Expires 6/29/20
- Excludes purchases made through LuluLemon Brand Ambassadors
- See offer for full terms
Quick Thoughts
I don’t know anything about lululemon apart from the fact that I’ve seen an ad for them here or there. I have no idea if their stuff is worth it and didn’t even know exactly what they carried before writing this post (looks like a lot of athletic apparel and accessories, but also some regular casual attire).
I had the Amex Offer for 2,000 points back on $100, but I imagine there is also a version good for $20 back on $100. I’d personally value 2,000 Membership Rewards points greater than $20, but even if you value the points at $0.01 (and thus the same as $20), the savings here could be as high as 33% combined if you were to order exactly $100 worth of merchandise.
TopCashBack notes that the 13% payout is good for 5 days:
According to the 15-month Cashbackmonitor history, that’s as good as it has gotten apart from a few days last year when one portal offered 20% back. If you don’t need something right now, you could presumably wait a few days to see if they have any sales in anticipation of Mother’s Day since it says it ends in 5 days.
Again, I don’t know much about lululemon, but this seemed like a good stack for those who do and want to buy something from them.
