Delta Status Boosts now posting mid-cycle

Delta Platinum and Delta Reserve Status Boosts are now being granted mid-cycle.  As a reminder, Delta Reserve cardholders earn 15,000 Medallion Qualifying Miles (MQMs) towards elite status with each $30K of spend, up to $120K of spend per year.  And Delta Platinum cardholders earn 10,000 MQMs at $25K spend and again at $50K spend.  These big spend bonuses are called “Status Boosts”. Amex adds Delta status boost tracker

Here’s a nice little surprise from Amex.  Delta Reserve and Delta Platinum cardholders will now see a Status Boost Tracker when they log in to American Express.  Each of these cards offers MQDs (Medallion Qualifying Miles) with big spend.  MQDs are helpful for earning Delta elite status.  It used to be difficult to know whether you’ve spent enough to reach the big spend thresholds, but not anymore!
