A JetBlue stacking opportunity hiding in plain sight?

In a presentation I’ve done at conferences about tools to be used to find great deals, one of the things I always suggest is to read the comments on blog posts. People often share their findings and experience with various deals and angles. Sometimes, through the collective experience of the Internet, you’ll stumble on great ideas you hadn’t considered. Just last week I stumbled on such a gem regarding the rebates on the JetBlue Plus and JetBlue Business…

Chase JetBlue Transfer Partner

Chase recently lost Korean Air as a transfer partner but has today added a brand new partner: JetBlue TrueBlue. On the one hand, this isn’t particularly exciting news given that JetBlue is already a transfer partner of American Express Membership Rewards, Citi ThankYou and Marriott Rewards. On the other hand, additional partner airlines are always welcome. It also looks like Chase is now offering the best day-to-day transfer rate. That’s because Ultimate Rewards can be…

Fly (semi) private on points or credits: JetBlue selling JetSuiteX seats

Yesterday, I saw that JetBlue is planning to sell seats on JetSuiteX flights. JetSuiteX is a semi-private carrier with a number of routes along the west coast. That headline made it sound as though JetBlue would be offering these flights in the future, but it goes on to note that JetBlue is already selling these seats online. Naturally, my next question was: Can you use points to fly in a semi-private jet? The answer is maybe, but not as…

JetBlue nixes Amazon 3x except in-flight as of 3/27

JetBlue has sent an email out to TrueBlue members announcing that they will cease to offer 3x for Amazon purchases on the ground — only offering 3x when connected to Fly-Fi in-flight Internet on JetBlue. It was previously possible to earn 3x on Amazon purchases starting through the JetBlue site (see: Earn 3X JetBlue Points Per Dollar Shopping on Amazon), setting it apart from most shopping portals (which only pay out in select categories). This change is taking effect March…
