Fly (semi) private on points or credits: JetBlue selling JetSuiteX seats

Yesterday, I saw that JetBlue is planning to sell seats on JetSuiteX flights. JetSuiteX is a semi-private carrier with a number of routes along the west coast. That headline made it sound as though JetBlue would be offering these flights in the future, but it goes on to note that JetBlue is already selling these seats online. Naturally, my next question was: Can you use points to fly in a semi-private jet? The answer is maybe, but not as…

JetBlue nixes Amazon 3x except in-flight as of 3/27

JetBlue has sent an email out to TrueBlue members announcing that they will cease to offer 3x for Amazon purchases on the ground — only offering 3x when connected to Fly-Fi in-flight Internet on JetBlue. It was previously possible to earn 3x on Amazon purchases starting through the JetBlue site (see: Earn 3X JetBlue Points Per Dollar Shopping on Amazon), setting it apart from most shopping portals (which only pay out in select categories). This change is taking effect March…

Book Quickly: BOS-SFO In Lie-Flat Beds For $797 RT / $399 OW

JetBlue Mint

Edit: There are still some $797 fares available, but there’s much less availability now. JetBlue has some excellent fares in Mint available between Boston and San Francisco. These are pricing out at just $399 OW / $797 RT for nonstop transcon travel in lie-flat beds. You can find these flights directly on JetBlue, Google Flights, etc., so they should be bookable anywhere. Secret Flying has a long list of dates where you can book this deal,…

Save with JetBlue Vacation packages discount

JetBlue is currently offering discounts on vacation packages. While Vacation packages sold by OTAs usually aren’t a deal, vacation packages sold directly by the airlines are usually the exception. In this case, you might be able to save a few bucks depending on your dates and destination (but YMMV as this will clearly vary). The Deal Book a JetBlue Vacation Package of at least 4 nights hotel + flights by February 12th and get the following discount:…

[Expired] Flash sale: Boston to Atlanta on a Friday from $20 / 500 points one way, many more

jetblue blue flex

JetBlue is offering a flash sale with flights starting from $20 one-way. JetBlue’s flash sales only include specific flights on specific dates, which sometimes limits how useful they are. However, I see some decent ones on the list this time — including Boston to Atlanta on Friday, December 10th for $20 — or use TrueBlue points and pay just 500 points + $5.60. The Deal JetBlue flash sale with prices from $20 each way Click here to go directly to the…

[EXPIRED] 60K JetBlue miles with newly increased offer

We earlier reported a nice new online offer for the an easy 40,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles. The disadvantage of American miles can sometimes be the challenge of finding award seats. JetBlue offers a simpler approach to award ticketing — and that matches nicely with the newly increased 60,000 JetBlue TrueBlue points offer on the JetBlue Plus Card. You can find a link to this offer on our Best Offers page. JetBlue Plus Card The Offer Earn 60,000 bonus points after $1,000 in…

$64 RT per person Orlando <-> Los Angeles

jetblue blue flex

In this morning’s Last Chance Deals post, we mentioned that a great fare we posted last week is still alive: $114 round trip in either direction between Orlando and Los Angeles. While that fare is already great, a reader pointed out that it can get even better with the Visa Infinite Discount Air program from the Chase Ritz-Carlton Visa or CNB Crystal Visa Infinite, which will give you a $100 discount if you’re booking 2 or more people, which could…

$114 round trip: Orlando <-> Los Angeles

jetblue blue flex

JetBlue is having a terrific sale between Orlando and Los Angeles: just $114.40 round trip in either direction. It looks like these flights book into P-class, which means they should earn some (reduced) mileage with Singapore or Hawaiian (or even less with Emirates). There are lots of dates available in January and February. Here is an example: Orlando to Los Angeles, January 25-30th: Availability is decent, but will certainly go quickly. According to ITA Matrix, these…
