Marriott’s Annual Devaluation: 120 Fewer Properties For Credit Card Nights

Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel

Marriott has announced its annual devaluation and while it’s not as bad as last year’s, it doesn’t make for happy reading if you have any 25,000 or 35,000 point certificates to use from your Marriott and/or SPG credit cards. That’s because there will be 120 fewer properties you can use those certificates at starting from next month. You can find the full list of 2019 category changes here, with those changes going into effect on…

Did You Upgrade To The Marriott Premier Plus Card? Check Your Bonus Points.

Marriott Rewards Premier Plus Upgrade Offer

Back in May 2018, Chase sent out upgrade offers to encourage Marriott Rewards Premier cardholders to upgrade to the new Premier Plus card. I’d planned on passing up on my 20,000 point offer, but as the year progressed I started considering an upgrade.…

Lucky at One Mile at a Time beat me to the punch as to several of the reasons why I strongly disagree with Gary,…

According to…
