How can you get the 5% discount while using a gift card? Is that only online?
If you have a Target REDcard set up on your Target.com account, when you check out you can select the REDcard and up to 4 Target gift cards as sources of payment. Because your REDcard is one of the payment methods you get 5% off the entire order regardless of whether or not the REDcard gets charged for that particular online order.

Yes, but go through the steps to confirm it on Target.com. If there is a 5% REDcard discount to be applied to your order, you will see it during the checkout before the last click that actually finalizes your purchase. You will see the line item and the amount of the discount.
Any problems buying tons of Target GCs from Gyft on Chase’s end? My first $100 GC purchase from them says it’s pending b/c my bank didn’t approve the transaction.
While I haven’t bot tons of GCs at same transaction though, or within just a couple of minutes, I regularly buy at Gyft w Ink+ via PayPal as needed based on where I’m shopping. Sometimes the gift cards are delayed, if so they usually clear for me after a few hours. My guess this is Gyft or PayPal taking precautions, not Chase.
Ok thanks. It just cleared too. Is there any way to buy several GCs in a single transactions? I’d think several $100 purchases would raise some flags at Chase.
Not that I know of. Looked to see if it had that option when you login from a computer, doesn’t seem to.
I’m on a PC and don’t see it either. That would be really helpful if they allowed that.
