Some of the targeted offers beat the current publicly-available best offers if you’re interested in redeemable miles rather than MQMs, so if that fits your needs, it’s worth taking a second to see if you are targeted.

Quick Thoughts
As you can see above, these offers are set to expire on 1/22/20 and are quite strong if you’re looking to pick up Delta miles.
Note that targeted offers vary. For instance, I got a crummy offer on the Gold Delta SkyMiles card:
But after scrolling down, I saw the increased offers on the Platinum and Reserve cards.
Note that I saw the same offer structure on the business cards as well, so if you’ve got those in mind it’s also worth checking for offers.
Overall, these are good offers if you are looking for redeemable Delta miles. If you’re looking to earn MQMs toward status, you might rather consider the offers currently listed on our Best Offers page.

Got 70k / $2000 – Gold. Woo-hoo!
Hi Nick, my mailer for the Gold card didn’t say that bonus is not available to previous Gold card holders. What do you think the odds are of getting the bonus if I’ve had the gold card many years ago?
Hey I just called about this! They said if you got the flyer, you will likely get the bonus mileage. Apparently they are trying to get old cardholders back with these offers. I would check the link above to make sure you qualify and call to apply!
Generally speaking, if you don’t see lifetime language, there is a chance you’ll get the bonus. That said, the way Amex has been lately, it’s hard to say.
Please tell me that’s not your purse.
Curious – I recently was approved for a Delta Gold 60k after $2k spend in 3monts. Should I consider calling to see if they’ll up the bonus to 70k?
I have a friend in exactly the same boat (he actually received the mailer on Friday). I told him that Amex isn’t known for matching, and that’s especially true on targeted offers, but that they never match when you don’t ask.
In other words, you might as well call or chat and try.
