This morning, Amex is out with many new Amex Offers — some targeted and some widely available. In all, I count 29 offers/variations added to our Current Amex Offers database today. A number of offers are good for an additional Membership Rewards point per dollar, with a few being great opportunities if you find them on the right cards.

Many cards that earn Membership Rewards are offering an extra point at various merchants over the next couple of months, with expiration dates that vary. New offers added to our databse today include:

  • BestBuy.com (Expires 10/31/18)
  • BergdorfGoodman.com (Expires 9/30/18)
  • Macys.com (Expires 12/31/18)
  • MarkAndGraham.com (Expires 12/31/18)
  • NeimanMarcus.com (Expires 9/30/18)
  • Pottery Barn (online) (Expires 12/31/18)
  • Shop Rite (Expires 12/31/18)
  • Williams-Sonoma.com (Expires 12/31/18)
  • WestElm.com (Expires 12/31/18)
  • Rejuvenation.com (Expires 12/31/18)
  • The Cheesecake Factory (Expires 6/30/18)

I’ve bolded a couple of the more interesting offers. BestBuy.com was great for me as I found it on my Blue Business Plus card (among others). That means I can earn a total of 3x at BestBuy.com since the Blue Business Plus earns 2x everywhere on the first $50K in purchases annually (then 1x). The additional point will be great for BestBuy.com purchases.

The Shop Rite offer was found on my wife’s Everyday Preferred card, which already earns 3x at US Grocery stores on the first $6,000 in purchases per year (then 1x) and earns a 50% bonus if she has 30 transactions in a billing cycle. That means if she does 30 or more transactions in a billing cycle, she can earn a total of 5.5x at Shop Rite with this offer.

The Cheesecake Factory is an interesting offer because it is the first time I recall seeing a restaurant offer for extra points. There are a couple of Amex cards that bonus restaurant spend, so grabbing an extra 1x will be nice if you’re eating at The Cheesecake Factory.

It’s great to see offers for extra points expand again this year. If you have received new offers for additional points that aren’t listed above, head over to our Current Amex Offers database and comment with the details. See our Complete Guide to Amex Offers for information on syncing offers to multiple cards.

Well I got none of these. I put a lot of spend on my Amex – could that explain why I don’t get particularly good offers? Do they feel they don’t need to incentivize me to spend more?
