Quick Thoughts
The Walmart store I was in earlier had several gift card packs offering bonuses (e.g. buy $50 Red Robin gift card and get a $10 bonus card, buy $45 Domino’s gift card pack for $40, etc.), but the Hotels.com offer seemed to offer the best value.
Hotels.com gift cards are often available on sale with a 15-20% discount, so this 30% bonus is better than that. The terms aren’t entirely clear though as to how the $15 bonus code works.
They’re clear that you have to claim the $15 digital gift card by March 31, 2019, but it doesn’t state whether or not that card has to be redeemed by March 31, 2019 as well. If it works as a regular gift card, you’ll be able to merge that balance with the $50 gift card, making this deal much better than if it expires at the end of March.
I didn’t end up buying any of these cards as I’m already sitting on a stack of Hotels.com gift cards bought at a 20% discount on Prime Day from the Membership Rewards deal, so I can’t test it for myself. If you’ve bought any of these cards and know how the $15 card works, please let us know in the comments below.
