This Week From Frequent Miler

Kivalens resurfaces, better than before. – Kivalens is a great tool for people who use Kiva to make loans. The tool has been improved with a new interface and wider compatibility.

Quick Tip: Discover claws back portal purchases made with non-Discover cards – Discover has started clawing back portal cashback from some customers who didn’t use a Discover card as the payment method.

Anonymous PayPal employee to answer manufactured spend questions – What questions would you like to see answered?

Quick Tip: Don’t buy GiftCardMall Visa cards (except as a gift) – Visas from GiftCardMall are no longer pin-enabled according to recent reports.

Sapphire Preferred 50K to 60K, and Freedom 15K offers coming soon – A source has said that the bonuses on the Sapphire Preferred and Freedom cards will be increasing very soon.

Between 23,000 and 40,000 points for $46 and a cramped hand – IHG has a new promotion and no purchase is necessary. Does it make sense to write out 94 postcards by hand to enter?

Quick Tip: Variable Load Visa/MC Gift Cards are now Cash Only at Officemax – Officemax has now hardcoded their register to make these popular cards “Cash Only”.

Discover’s Deal of the Year results are in. The gift card rule IS being enforced. – Discover began sending out emails to certain customers disallowing gift card purchases from their Apple Pay promotion. Some lucky customers did get a one time exception.

Have a great evening!
