[Targeted] $10 Starbucks eGift card for $5 at Groupon

For a limited time, Groupon has a targeted offer for a $10 Starbucks eGift card for $5. This offer didn’t work on any of the accounts in my family, but it may work with a new account.

The Offer

  • $10 Starbucks eGift card for $5
  • Targeted promotion
  • Subject line of the email says “50% off Starbucks eGift card” or you can try this link to see if you were invited for this promotion.

Key Terms

Quick thoughts

I’ll take five bucks in free Starbucks money any day of the week as I know I’ll put it to use. With the Starbucks app, I can load the gift card directly to the app and not have to fiddle around with keeping track of it. All that said, this deal is highly targeted — you should have received an email if you were targeted. Still, with the barrage of emails Groupon sends out, it can be easy to miss a good targeted offer like this. As noted above, you may be able to successfully purchase if you create a new account — I did not try this and can’t confirm.

Comments

  1. I wonder what goal Groupon has in mind with these promotions other than pissing off their current customers who haven’t been targeted.

  2. It only pisses of non-targeted customers due to posts like this. I think people need to think twice before posting about very narrowly targeted offers when those targeted will hear about it other ways.
