Huge Delta sale to Europe, summer travel

Update: This fare sale is dying. However, some of these are still bookable via small OTAs at Momondo.com as of 10:41am Eastern time. See our update here.

We have stumbled on a huge airfare sale from many Delta hubs and smaller cities to Europe from $538 round trip nonstop for summer travel, with many one-stop itineraries also available. Some example deals follow (click the images to go to Google Flights). All of these examples are for summer travel in July or August. Many more cities are likely possible. Sale prices seem to begin in late July and are widely available in August (and into the fall).

Again, these prices are available from both hub cities and smaller markets around the US. We’re already seeing some matching from American, United, and other alliance carriers — keep your eye out for your preferred alliance as this may turn into a fare war.

See our post on How to find great business class fares using Google Flights for more information on finding good fares.

    • No — business class would be about two or three thousand dollars more :-). These prices are very good economy class prices for hub captives and those in smaller markets – especially for summer travel.

  1. Do note that in some market these are BE fares. Specifically for me this is coming up with RDU – CDG (whether booking the direct or with a connection). You can appear to get around it by booking the AF flight #s from the AF US website

  2. Saw these yesterday afternoon and booked from CMH to AMS for $552. Its a very rare day when we get fares to Europe out of Columbus for such a deal. Went back this morning to book another trip to LHR or MAD and was sorry to see them gone. Early bird…
