Capital One Quicksilver

FM Mini Review: While you can do better with a no-fee 2% cash back card, the Quicksilver card often offers excellent discounts with popular services such as Uber or Spotify.

Card Type: Mastercard

Earning rate: 1.5% everywhere

Noteworthy perks: No foreign transaction fees

The no-fee Capital One Quicksilver card earns 1.5% cash back. While you can do better with no-fee 2% cash back cards such as Citi Double Cash, or the Fidelity Investment Rewards Visa, the Quicksilver card often offers excellent discounts with popular services such as Uber or Spotify.

Overall, this is a good choice for a welcome offer. Not a great choice to use for spend, but can be very good for specific discount offers.
