United Makes Awful Change To Their Policy On Schedule Changes

United Airlines Schedule Change Policy

United was the last of the main US airlines to announce that they’d waive change fees for flights booked during March, but they’re sadly first with an adjustment to their schedule change policy and it’s truly awful. In the past, United Airlines allowed you to get a refund if they changed your flight schedule and it would get you to your destination more than two hours after the original arrival time. They’ve now changed this…

Avianca adds basic economy fares to/from North America

Avianca has today (3/4/20) begun selling basic economy style fares on flights to and from the United States. They are marketing their flights in “sizes” from Extra-Small ro XXL, which will indicate how much is included in your fare. Obviously the “smaller” the fare, the fewer inclusions (and in some cases the more you’ll pay to add those things later). While I’m sure there are some folks who will be happy to travel light and save…

In yesterday morning’s post (Turkish miles: 45K each way for business class to Europe [sweet spot spotlight]), I noted how you can fly to or from Europe in business class for 45K miles each way on Star Alliance carriers. SeatSpy is an awesome tool for finding award space on British Airways and Virgin Atlantic flights.  Inside Flyer published details about this tool back in November 2019, but I didn’t get around to checking this out until recently. JetBlue Card Linked Program: Stack Offers For Great Returns

JetBlue Card-linked offers

While doing a little bit of research for the latest Rover Amex Offer, I noticed something interesting. Cashback Monitor had three entries for earning cashback when booking services with Rover. One of these was particularly eye-catching as it said “Rover – Card Linked”. Anytime I see the words “Card Linked” I get excited as these types of offers can usually be stacked with other offers to earn/save even more. When clicking through to the listing…
