Ebates triple cashback

The Deal

  • Earn triple cashback at dozens of online retailers via Ebates.
  • Direct link.

Key Terms

  • Expires August 23, 2018.

Quick Thoughts

It’s always important to compare rates across all cashback portals using Cashback Monitor to ensure you’re getting the best possible rate. That’s because even though triple cashback sounds good, the reality isn’t always so.

For example, eBags is currently 15% on Ebates but you can get 16% elsewhere. Finish Line is 9% on Ebates but 10% through Discover Deals.

In many cases though, Ebates is now the highest or joint-highest. Here are some notable increases:

  • IHG brands – 12%
  • eBay – up to 5%
  • Dish Network – $225
  • JCPenney – 9%
  • 1-800-CONTACTS – 12%

With regards to IHG, you’ll need to search for their specific brands such as Holiday Inn Express and Crowne Plaza, rather than IHG specifically.

There’s also a 1-800-CONTACTS Amex Offer for $40 back when spending $200. If you were to spend exactly $200 on an order with them, the cashback and Amex Offer combined would save you almost 1/3 on your order.

These increased rates are only due to be around until August 23. Seeing as cashback portal rates can change daily, be sure to compare rates before placing any orders on Wednesday and Thursday as well.
