The November 2018 Flying Blue Promo Awards are out, bookable until November 29th for travel between December 31, 2018 and February 27, 2019. This time around, the deals are mostly on economy class travel to and from Europe (with many US cities included and prices very reasonable). Additionally, there are promo awards available on Kenya Airways between New York and Nairobi in both economy and business class.

This list is mostly good for economy class travel between Europe and the US, with economy class flights 25% off out of Washington, Houston, Chicago, and Boston and 50% off out of Seattle. Thanks to Flying Blue now having variable award pricing, it’s now possible to find some hidden gems in promo awards. Last month, there were some crazy deals available — like business class between Seattle and Prague as low as 13,250 miles one way (See: Business class to/from Europe from 13,250 miles: New Flying Blue promo awards). This time around, you’ll pay somewhere around that many miles for economy class flights from each of the various gateways (though your mileage may literally vary since it’ll be different day to day and route to route).
Also included this time around is 25% off both economy and business class between New York and Nairobi on Kenya Airways, with economy class advertised from 34,500 miles and business from 86,500 miles — though note you’ll pay around $400 in fees on top for business class (and those prices are each way). It may still be useful for some looking to skip out of New York mid-winter for a trip to Kenya.
Remember that Air France / KLM Flying Blue is an Amex transfer partner, Chase transfer partner, Citi transfer partner, and a Marriott/SPG transfer partner — so it should be easy to put together the miles for an award if you are in the market.
