For Cyber Monday, the Rakuten portal (formerly Ebates) is offering up to 15% back at hundreds of retailers, or 15x if you switch your account to earn Membership Rewards. That’s a great return at many of these stores, but you’ll need to act quickly as this increased rate is only available today (December 2).

Quick Thoughts

15% cashback is a great rate for many of the participating retailers, although 15x Membership Rewards is an even better return if you prefer Membership Rewards points. In case you missed that news, you can now switch an existing cashback account to a Membership Rewards account. For more on how to do that, see Rakuten (formerly Ebates): now change from cash back to Membership Rewards points.

I took a look through the list of stores and some that stood out to me include:

  • Amazon devices 10X (Echo devices, Fire tablets, Kindle e-readers, Ring doorbells, etc.)
  • Saks Fifth Avenue: 16X
  • Booking.com 15X
  • IHG Hotels 15X
  • Dell 15X
  • Samsung 15X
  • Expedia Things to Do 15X

If you haven’t used up your Amex Platinum Saks Fifth Avenue credit, today is a great day to do so.  Same story if you haven’t yet used up your Amex Business Platinum Dell credit.
