Hi, I reload $10 last 3 days until now I didn’t received an email for that promotion. Still active the said promo?

Foxlore

Thanks for the heads-up on this. Also received my bonus gift card a few hours after the initial purchase.

Profpeabody

My Starbucks app kept freezing so I went online yesterday with my computer, bought the $10 using Visa Checkout and this morning I received an email with the $10 bonus. Thanks for the great tip!

Yeraldin Serna

My app doesn’t give me the option for visa check out, just Apple Pay and PayPal…

Jessica

I tried this yesterday as soon as I saw the email in my inbox and I’ve yet to receive my promo code for the $10 eGift card. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, what did you do? Did it take longer than 48 hours?

George

@ Jessica,
Mine came within 24 hours…keep checking on it I guess.

I just did it on my I-Pod. I already had a Starbucks account working. In payment methods I found the place to add Visa Checkout, did it and got an email from Starbucks telling me I will get 10 credit within 24 hours. Voila! Thanks!

Nick

As far as I can see on my Android phone, there’s no option to “check out” with Visa Checkout — just “add a card with Visa Checkout”. When I do that, all it does is take me back to the app and tell me the “payment method has been added,” at which point I can choose that card. Does this work?

Jeff

I have the exact same question with the app on my iPhone. Frustrating they’re not more clear on how this works.

lisa

see my reply earlier, i think it works and i get the promotion a few hours after.

Geoff

Dead:(

shaky02dd

How can you tell? I didn’t get a confirmation about the bonus at all.

Todd

Why do you think it’s dead?

I went ahead with a $10 load. Couldn’t hurt.

lisa

it is still alive. I tried this afternoon, and get the $10 promotion at night in email. Just reload you card using the app. choosing pay with the card saved in your account, and then select add payment method. There is an option “add card with visa checkout”. select it and then log in or register a visa checkout account. Then pay with it and done. It won’t say whether you will get the promotion. But I received the $10 e-card by email a few hours later. Good luck!

Cua

THIS WAS SO PERFECT! Thank you for the directions.

Jeff

I followed these instructions yesterday afternoon around 3:30 and have not received an email or any bonus whatsoever. I also checked my Deleted folder to ensure I didn’t accidentally delete the email, as well as my Junk folder.

Not griping, glad others were successful – but providing the data point.

In the App, I chose “Add a payment option”, “Visa Checkout”, “added” a Credit Card I already had on file on the App, and then paid with that card (This should meet the requirements others have listed above).

Jeff

Follow-Up to my previous “data point”.

It’s been nearly 24 hours – not sure why mine seems to have been delayed so much more than others but I did just receive the bonus email. Thanks for the great post!
